Reg and Sue, I LOVE that you discovered a covered bridge! Covered Bridges are very special to my family. When my grandmother (on my father’s side) was growing up in Ohio, her family lived near a covered bridge. When company came to visit, as they were leaving to go home, instead of saying, “drive safely”” my Great-grandmother would say, “Watch out for the covered bridge!” My Dad carried on that tradition, as all my siblings do now! When we visit each other, as we leave to go back home, we say, “Watch out for the covered bridge!”
