Backroads Across America: Route 66 calls

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Wind, mountains and speeding truckers could not keep us from logging 1,000 miles during the first three days of our RV adventure across America. We took a walk in Kingman, AZ today and made coffee to spur us toward Williams, where our wee trailer seemed dwarfed in the Good Sam campground. Our neighbors in a huge fifth wheel are following Nascar races to Texas. On our way, we drove a bit of Route 66 through the historic town of Seligman.

Great start! Just think how we’d feel with our tiny tent trailer along side the gigantic RVs!!

    1. Great, Jackie…would you like the breaded squirrel legs or the fried rabbit ears? :))

  3. Wow, that’s a lot of miles. Be sure to stop and smell the roadkill, at the diner, that is…

Thanks for the update. By the way… your wee trailer is bigger than our wee, wee trailer. Ken

    1. But your lower profile makes for easier towing, especially when facing a headwind. Today we were far from trucks most of the day…much better!
