Family meetup before the Bluegrass

  1. A bluegrass music festival in Placerville, California brought son Chris and his girlfriend Gail from West Virginia to Sacramento for a day. Sue and I drove from Oregon and Brad came from Chico for a day of walking, eating, and even showing our skills at a shooting gallery. We wrapped it up with drinks at a K Street bar. Sue and I opted out of the weekend campout, but Brad and girlfriend Ashley returned the next day for the weekend festival.

    Hi Reg, Sue:
On meeting my new dentist, I noted photos of his three handsome sons– pre-teens. When I commented on how popular he must be each night when he returns home, he said the photos were old ones. His sons are in their forties and he sees them about once a year…” They all have their busy lives.”
On seeing your family photo, I wonder if you’d say the same. I certainly would.

    • Hi Phil, We try to see them as much as we can, but it gets tough, especially when they spread out. I suppose we raised them to be independent, eh?

  2. Any reason to get together with family is great one. 🙂
