Who Holds The Key To This Roman Mystery?

I couldn't help but wonder about the significance of these locks found on a lamppost.

    1. We didn’t have time…had to return to Rome! We are in Verona now…it is incredibly charming.

  2. Is the lamp post near a river? In Paris, you put the name of your love on a lock, attach it to the bridge fence and throw the key in the river. It means your love is locked forever.

    1. Oh…that makes sense! The lamppost was on the bridge over the Tever river. Each lamppost had locks… I guess I missed my chance to secure my one true love! Fingers crossed this relationship works out! Sue
