Who Holds The Key To This Roman Mystery?

I couldn't help but wonder about the significance of these locks found on a lamppost.

Is the lamp post near a river? In Paris, you put the name of your love on a lock, attach it to the bridge fence and throw the key in the river. It means your love is locked forever.

    • Oh…that makes sense! The lamppost was on the bridge over the Tever river. Each lamppost had locks… I guess I missed my chance to secure my one true love! Fingers crossed this relationship works out! Sue
