Dear Sue & Reg, we are following your trip. Your Dad says he heard that Italy has lots of ups & downs, he guesses you two are finding that out for yourselves. Sounds exhausting!! Love all the pics. Have fun & be safe

    • Hi Dad and Margarita, We’re so glad you are following along. I hope all is well with you both. I have not yet sent a postcard. The little villages either don’t have a post office, or it’s only open a couple days a week or it is closed from 1:30-4:30 for siesta when we walk by. Dad, you are right about the hills. I don’t think we’ve missed climbing one yet! Lots and lots of elevation gain and loss each day. It allows for beautiful views but tired bodies! We head for Gubbio today where we will spend two nights. The weather is 10-15 degrees warmer than I expected. It’s been in the mid 70s with some humidity, so very warm for walking. Also, there is much paved road walking which is hard on feet. We’ve met some nice people, no Americans yet, stayed in some beautiful spots…some hotels have been a little quirky, some where we’ve been the only guests. This has been a hard trek so far, but we’ve seen amazing things. More later, love Sue and Reg
